NOVA Entertainment has announced the return of smooth Festival of Chocolate to Sydney this September.

The festival is set to relocate to Sydney Olympic Park at the Sydney Showground for its fifth edition.

With 100 stalls and over 140,000 visitors to last year’s festival, held at the rocks, this year promises to be even bigger, and the Showground will offer attendees, partners and exhibitors all weather access, new attractions for families and greater transport accessibility.

The smooth Festival of Chocolate will also be ticketed this year, with part of admissions price going towards charity Ozharvest.

Tickets will grant holders access to all exhibitors, grandstand seating at the Callebaut Test Kitchen, rides, the smooth Relaxation Station and lots more.

“The smooth Festival of Chocolate is a great example of smoothfm’s extension onto an experiential platform and provides a unique brand experience for attendees and our partners,” said NOVA Entertainment chief of marketing & digital Tony Thomas.

“With the growing success of the festival and the smoothfm brand, we continue to look at ways to evolve and develop the experience and this change of location will provide a better experience for attendees and greater opportunities for stallholders and partners.”

For every ticket sold, two meals will be donated to OzHarvest for people in need.

“OzHarvest is thrilled to be part of the smooth Festival of Chocolate. Thanks to their support we will be able to deliver even more meals to vulnerable Australians and help nourish our country,” said OzHarvest corporate & community manager Lisa Dainty.

The smooth Festival of Chocolate will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 1-2 September from 10am-6pm each day.
