‘The Evolution of Radio’ podcast discusses drift to digital radio

Former Assistant Editor

Digital radio has become more popular than AM and FM for the first time in the UK.

BBC Radio 4 has released an episode of its podcast The Media Show called ‘The Evolution of Radio’ which dives into what “the drift to digital” means for traditional broadcasters.

The episode also addresses increasing investment that companies like Amazon and Spotify are putting into their original podcasts and music programming.

Joining host Amol Rajan for the discussion is CEO of Bauer Media UK and European Radio Paul Keenan, host of The Tip Off podcast Maeve McClenaghan, editor of Inside Housing Emma Maier, and FT European Technology correspondent Aliya Ram.
