Sportsbet nails ‘Every Talkback Radio Show Ever’ skit

It seems that sports-centric talkback radio is the trendy punching bag at the moment, and now Sportsbet has released a hilarious take on the radio format.

Shows including triple j’s Ben and Liam, and KIIS 106.5’s Kyle and Jackie O have recently had a go at impersonating a Triple M-style broadcast.

Now betting company Sportsbet have thrown their hat in the ring with a parody radio show called ‘Frothing About Footy’ on the aptly named ‘Triple F’.

Putting together a classic team of blokey bloke host ‘Mad Dog’, former reality TV contestant ‘Flo’ who constantly makes references to her time on ‘Bachie’, and 250-game premiership winning player ‘Man Mountain Macca’ whose contributions are limited to grunting.

Callers during the segment include Jim from Albury who calls up to complain about everything that’s happened since 1983, “the bloke with the dodgy reception” and “that overly familiar old lady”.
