Spirit Karratha’s Angie and Pablo compete in a beer brewing competition

Spirit 1260 Karratha’s Angie and Pablo entered a “Brew Off” competition at the Froth Craft Brewery over the weekend to see who could make the perfect pint.

The competition got off to a controversial start when Angie called her dad to help out, while Pablo created his recipe and handed it off to local brewer Dan Scott to put together.

“You don’t see Lara Bingle cutting out her swimsuits on the factory floor,” said Pablo.

“I took a very similar approach. Let the brewers brew, I’ll just give ideas and inspiration.

“A director of a movie still gets credited even though he never acted in the film…”

Pablo’s mix of Coconut and Lemon beer controversially took out second place, while Angie’s ‘British Bitter’ was reported by the judges to be “nearly undrinkable.”

Naturally, Pablo called Angie this morning to break the news.
