1116 SEN has brought former Socceroo Josh Kennedy on board for a nightly 2018 football World Cup show called Road To Russia.

The show will be co-hosted by Jack Heverin and run from June 4 to July 11 for one hour nightly at 7pm.

The duo will bring in-depth analysis of the world’s biggest football event, including interviews with past and present players, expert punditry and game analysis.

“The World Cup is the pinnacle of sporting events globally and is consistently the most followed sporting event worldwide,” said Kennedy.

Road to Russia will place our Australian listeners at the forefront of all the action.

“I have been lucky enough to play for the Socceroos at two World Cups and will never forget that experience. I cannot wait to see which of our Socceroos announce themselves on this huge stage.

“There are so many incredible players from around the world in action and the quality of football will be spectacular. I can’t wait to join Jack Heverin and discuss it all on 1116 SEN.”

The 2018 World Cup kicks off on Friday June 15.
