SCA’s launch reveals 2 new programs

This afternoon, SCA held a trade launch for 300 Sydney clients at Doltone House at Jones Bay Wharf, hosted by Merrick Watts, CEO Rhys Holleran and Chief Content Officer Guy Dobson.

Also in attendance were key Sydney personalities Hamish & Andy, Kyle & Jackie O, Angus O’Loughlin, plus Triple M Highway Patrol’s Merrick, Rach & Jules, and The Grill Team’s Matty Johns, Gus Worland and Mark Geyer.

Some of the key highlights from the preso included :-

  • a welcome to two new key executives – Andrea Ingham as National Sales Director and Clive Dickens, the Director of Digital and Innovation
  • The launch of SCAengage (see here)

Plus they talked about some of the programming initiatives to be seen in 2013.

  • Hamish and Andy's Business Brunch
  • The Bump
  • Mamamia returning
  • Triple M and Local Works awarded the FM rights for the NRL for the next 5 years

And 2 newies :-

  • Ex Nova Adelaide breakfast announcers Dan & Maz will launch a late drive show soon on the Today Network (from 6pm)
  • A new look and feel for The Dirt – as it’s reborn as Scoopla, which also includes a half hour TV show on Channel 11 metro and regional

SCA also announced it would release pricing and launch details of Songl, a joint venture with Sony and UMA, in the first weeks of next month. It would then be available to the public not long after. See our story from last year on Songl here.
