Robin Bailey announces engagement to Sean Pickwell

Triple M Brisbane presenter Robin Bailey revealed this morning that she is engaged to partner Sean Pickwell.

The Breakfast host made the announcement on-air, after her co-hosts Greg ‘Marto’ Martin and Lawrence ‘The Moonman’ Mooney had asked why she was out at Movie World over the weekend with her own and Sean’s kids.

As Robin explained, she was at the theme park when, to her shock, Sean got down on one knee and proposed.

“All of a sudden I hear a rustle and I turn around and there’s my big panda on his knee proposing.”

“I was just gobsmacked — I literally don’t even think I said yes and I said ‘what are you doing?’ and he goes ‘I don’t know I just felt the moment was right’.”

Sean was formerly the national promotions and marketing director for Austereo, and is managing director of promotions company Waterfront.
