Official Numbers again show Radio Today leads

Staff Writer

Radio Today has recorded our highest ever traffic figures in September, consolidating our widely acknowledged position as the leading radio industry website in Australasia. We remain the only completely free site in this space.

Furthermore, Radio Today has consistently and proactively outlined our traffic numbers, showing analytics screenshots and ongoing trends transparently. This is so that you know our claimed traffic is completely accurate.

The Radio Today traffic data indicates consistent, sustainable and real growth trends.

We will never attempt to claim that, for example, we have doubled uniques in two months. Traffic claims like that should be regarded as dubious at best, and should be treated with the scepticism they clearly deserve. With that, to the official numbers;

That said, we have always believed a key measure of your engagement with Radio Today is the volume of comments made around the content published, and in September we published 402 comments from you (and didn't publish a few more for legal reasons!).

This is around 350 more than any other radio site received in the same month, and we appreciate your input enormously.

But back to the traffic. Due to your support, Radio Today has recorded double digit growth in Unique Visitors in September, with 15,112 uniques; an increase of 24% on August, and a new high figure.

Furthermore, our Page Impressions in September also reached a new high of 104,468, an increase of 4.3% on August numbers, and also a new high point.

Below are our trend graphs for calendar year 2012:
