Radio Today named among Australia’s 10 Most Influential Music, Media & Entertainment Trade Websites

Staff Writer

Radio Today has been named among Australia’s 10 most influential music, media and entertainment trade websites.

RT came in at #4 on a list compiled by The Music Network, which took into account a number of different data metrics including figures released by the Audited Media Association of Australia.

The list was topped by leading trade publication Mumbrella (#1), Mediaweek (#2) and B&T (#3) came in next, and AdNews (#5) rounded out the top 5.

The list considered website data and social media traffic, tracked via digital market intelligence platform SimilarWeb, and also factored in the combined social reach of platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.

TMN also reached out to some of the entertainment industry’s most respected representatives and executives across a range of companies and sectors, to gauge how each publication impacted key industry issues.

Radio Today was found to have a highly engaged audience, recording 94,600 site visits in August, of which 71.06% were Australian, according to SimilarWeb.

AMAA shows RT had an average of 1,782 Australian Unique Browers in September, and a combined social media reach across Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn of 15,978 followers.
