Omny Studio enables pre-roll video ads

Thanks to a new partnership with Rubicon, Omny Studio has enabled the ability for customers to run programmatic pre-roll video ads on their embed plays.

Rubicon Project is the global exchange for advertising, and with its help, Omny Studio is expanding its video monetisation options in order to deliver industry-standard video pre-roll ads across podcast listens on the web.

Omny Studio customers can connect their podcast with Rubicon Project’s premium video advertising marketplace to open up an additional revenue stream from their on-demand audio content.

“By tapping into premium video ad inventory, we can now maximise the revenue potential for our podcast publisher’s web traffic and connect more advertisers with highly engaged podcast consumers.” said Omny Studio Head of Business Development Mitch Secrett.

The new opt-in service means that video advertising will be enabled as skippable or non-skippable pre-roll, with targeting available by user’s location, network, show and associated episode and show metadata.
