Nova 96.9 shares almost a quarter of its playlist with KIIS FM Sydney

Nova 96.9 has the most crossover in music with KIIS 106.5, following the unveiling of Nova Network‘s new national ‘Greatest Hits Workday’ music strategy last week.

During the last seven days, Nova Sydney shared 23.8% of its playlist with KIIS, with 85 of the same tracks played across both stations.

Nova’s range of tracks spun was wider, and ‘Remind Me To Forget’ by Kygo and Miguel was the most spun across both (28 times).

2DayFM had the second greatest crossover with Nova, with 15.9% of tracks shared by both. ‘Hurt Somebody’ by Noah Kahan and Julia Michaels was most spun shared track.

2Day adopted its own new music strategy at the year – with the tagline ‘More Music, More Variety’.

Stations that share a music format have music crossover. What a shock.

Nova the once ‘ sounds different ‘ station now copy most of KIIS music adds and changes. Thats why they are getting crushed across the workday. They should sound different.
