2MC & Star dominate Port Macquarie

Port Macquarie is the latest market to receive a radio ratings report. The results, released this morning, show 2MC and Star dominating the market, with the other signals a long way behind.

Overall, 2MC is number 1 on 28.4% driven heavily from Breakfast and Mornings listening, and aided by the market having an older demographic profile. 

Star is ranked #2 on 26.6% and wins drive and afternoons. The demos go along the expected lines, with Star dominating under 40 and 2MC dominating over 40.

CRA Chief Executive Joan Warner said: “Radio is an important and established part of the life of the local community, and some of the great personalities on air in Port Macquarie have been broadcasting there for decades”.
