Former 2GB and 3AW News Editor Corbett Shaw has passed away.

Corbett was the founding editor of the 3AW News Room in the 1960’s and had been sent from Sydney to set it up. Before that 3AW took their news from The Age. He hired many of the 3AW journalists that went on to become household names including Greg Shackleton, one of the journalists killed in Timor.

Corbett Shaw later went to SBS and was the chief editor for 2EA and 3EA (now SBS Radio).
