Nova Entertainments Assistant Group PD heading home

Staff Writer

Mike Cass has tendered his resignation from his role as Assistant Group Program Director and Nova 100 Program Director to return to the UK.

Word came in from NOVA Entertainment HQ this morning.

Mike has called Australia home for the past four years working in both Perth and Melbourne. For Nova 100, he helped to create the Meshel & Tommy breakfast show and network wide headed up the rollout of their groups new RCS playout system Zetta on the programming side.

Paul Jackson, NOVA Entertainment’s Group Program Director said, “Mike is a great talent within the radio industry. He has been a big part of the team at NOVA Entertainment and can return to UK radio very proud of his time here.”

Mike Cass added “It has been an absolute career highlight to have been fortunate enough to work for NOVA Entertainment and I will miss the talented teams from around the country. Having to leave a team as creative, dedicated and inspiring as the team on and off-air at Nova 100 and return home to family and friends is probably one of the hardest decisions I’ve made.”

Mike will be here until December 19. No word yet on his replacement.
