Hamish and Andy – The People’s Island

The Today Network’s Hamish and Andy will set off on an exciting voyage this afternoon to reach a small island off the coast of Rockhampton.

“Two cows are rumoured to have been able to get across there, so you know it's not too deep”

It’s the final leg of their epic journey towards what they have crowned “The People’s Island”.

After a 200 metre dingy ride battling the elements, Hamish and Andy will take their much-anticipated first steps on The People’s Island, formally called Iron Island, where they will inspect their surrounds on behalf of the people.

All the action will be broadcast on Hamish and Andy’s national Today Network show from 3 – 4pm this afternoon.

While in Central Queensland, the boys also hooked up with HOT FM's Browny and EJ and co-hosted the breakfast show with them.
