Staff Writer

Following our stories this week on NOVA TV Radio You Can See and our chat to the Founder of Omny – the other big player in the online streaming "radio" space Pandora, has hit Two Million Listeners in Australia and New Zealand in under two years.

Pandora launched in December 2012 and securing Two Million registered listeners they say, has double their listener base in less than 12 months. By all accounts, that’s about two new users every minute.

“It’s clear that radio is evolving – and this evolution is being propelled by consumers and technology,” says Jane Huxley Managing Director, Pandora ANZ.

"Key to Pandora’s success, is that we offer listeners an interactive and social experience that is incredibly personal, and artists a channel to be discovered by a new legion of fans”.

If all the options and latest players in the space have you saying “what?” – Everything you wanted to know about online radio and streamers but were afraid to ask – is the RadioToday story for you.
