Tom & Olly get nude for listeners

Star Albury’s Tom & Olly wrapped up The Borders Wedding on Friday. With over 300 people applying the win a  pop-up wedding package – Star listeners Dean & Rhiannon were chosen.

Tom & Olly then put the call out to get on board and help plan things like Dean’s suit, a cake, hair, makeup for the Bride and even an antenatal care package for what comes later.

The local priest got on board to give Olly robes, Hens & Bucks parties happened live on air and then Rhiannon’s Maid of Honour suggested that Tom &Olly life model (ie: in the buff!). Next they decided to surprise the Bucks and do a nudie run.

Friday morning there was an OB for Dean & Rhiannon’s walk down the aisle.

“An absolute incredible team effort from everyone up here at the Albury Hub. Sales, Promo, Engineering, Production and Content from both The River and Star FM all got on board to help out.

“We were so pleased that Dean & Rhiannon were generous enough to get married live on air! Now all we need is for Olly to cut his hair so he looks less like Jesus in those robes!!! I’m still not sure whether it’s offensive or hilarious!” ,said Tom.

“I do thank thee for such a holy day” , said Olly who seems to be stuck in Priest mode after leading the ceremony.
