Newcastle Knights star asks Jess Farchione to be his Dally M date

Kalyn Ponga is one of the NRL’s hottest commodities has secured his date for the Dally M Awards ceremony; Hit106.9 Newcastle’s Jess Farchione.

The Newcastle Knights star, hotly tipped as the X-Factor that could turn around the ongoing State Of Origin series for Queensland, asked Breakfast co-host Jess to be his date live on air.

Kalyn is currently leading the pack of Dally M points, ahead of James Maloney, Luke Brooks and others.

He has been joining Hit106.9’s Nick, Jess and Simon each week for all the goss from inside Knights HQ – and took the opportunity to ask Jess to be his date on Friday after Simon told him that she had previously expressed a fondness for him

Although Jess was somewhat stitched up by her co-hosts, she was a good sport and accepted the invitation.
