Melbourne narrowcast Dance music radio station KISS FM is representing Australia for the third time at the International Radio Festival.

The ninth edition of the festival is being held this year in Malta and features more than 25 international radio stations.

KISS FM station manager and drive host Timmy Byrne will host his iconic radio show live to air at the festival, broadcasting to an audience of over 100 million listeners around the world.

The broadcast will take place on top of St. Elmo, Pjazza d’Armi, a beautiful 15th Century Fort overlooking over the township of Valletta, Malta.

Tim has been described as the ‘Pete Tong‘ of Australia and he has been at the forefront of Australia’s dance music agenda for many years now.

“I’m extremely excited, humbled and honoured once again to be invited to attend and present my show at the truly unique International Radio Festival,” he said.

“My previous involvement with the Festival in Zurich, Switzerland enabled me to meet radio industry experts and icons in a highly professional and friendly environment.”

KISS FM first went to air in 2005.
