Lee Simon is Craig Bruce’s next guest on Game Changers: Radio

Former Assistant Editor

The next episode of Craig Bruce‘s podcast series Game Changers: Radio will feature the recently-retired Triple M founder Lee Simon.

Lee, who was inducted into the Commercial Radio Hall of Fame at last weekend’s ACRAs, was Craig’s first ever programmer.

“He hired me as an 18-year-old when I was doing Nights in Port Augusta, so it was really nice to go full circle and pay tribute to him on the podcast,” Bruce tells Radio Today.

On the episode, Craig and Lee chat about interviewing rock stars and working with Molly Meldrum and EON FM’s infamous Captain Karl (Karl Van Est).

Lee also reveals his mantra for hiring and managing radio latent, which comes down to “hiring the very best people you possibly can, surround yourself with those people, back your own judgement in… and let them do their job.”

Game Changers: Radio with Lee Simon is out this Saturday October 27.
