97.3FM rolls out Brisbane Breakfast marketing campaign on top of local sex shop

Staff Writer

97.3FM has released a reinvigorated marketing campaign for its Brisbane Breakfast show following the new addition of comedian Mike van Acker and have chosen a prime location to reveal the advertisements.

Those more familiar with Brisbane will notice that the ARN team have decided to debut their new marketing atop one of Brisbane’s more notorious sex shops ‘The Den Adult Concepts’ – at least they’re supporting local business.

Mike joined co-hosts Bianca Dye and Bob Gallagher last month, replacing Terry Hansen who bowed out due to family and health reasons.

In addition to introducing the new cast, 97.3FM have also unveiled the tagline that will accompany the trio with “Brisbane’s fresh way to wake up” blazed across all promotional material.

As reported by Radio Today, the rollout also includes a new campaign for KIIS Melbourne’s Jase & PJ who’s new tagline of “Make The Move” accompanies a greater focus on the pair’s “authentic chemistry”.

It’s also in front of one of Brisbane’s newest and more exclusive high rise apartment developments and is a high traffic area as a thoroughfare through the city.

It’s also the busiest road in Brisbane with more than 60,000 cars past every day, often stopping at the traffic lights with St Paul’s Terrace. Seems like an excellent spot to have a billboard.

Stephen, it’s certainly not the busiest road in Brisbane. It does have a captive audience though at that intersection which is usually at a crawl.

I really miss what this station and show used to stand for.
Where was Bianca at the Sony Foundation Charity lunch the other day?
