KIIS FM’s Jackie O ‘two types of people at Christmas’ video goes viral
KIIS FM’s Jackie O featured in a cracker of a Christmas video at the start of the month, called ‘two types of people at Christmas’.
Jackie, from the Kyle & Jackie O breakfast show, was immediately on to an absolute winner on social media with this one, with stacks of viewers clearly relating to the contrasting neat wrapper/messy wrapper personas.
The clip has picked up more than 25 million views, despite being released just a few short weeks ago, and is still growing at 1-2 million views a day, meaning it could easily nail 30-40 million watches before December is over.
It’s a perfect example of how to nail some unique Christmas-related content, especially when there’s such a glut of it going around online.
This clip also makes Jackie relatable – watching her struggle with something everyone does during the Christmas period.
It a triggers a connection with the audience therefore they are more likely to engage and watch the clip in its entirety.
This is cool, but Sam Blacker from Power FM in Nowra made a video that got watched 17 million times, all through organice growth through his page (and a share from Unilad).
It makes sense that the biggest FM breakfast show in the country would be getting views like this, but let’s also support the little guys too!
