KIIS 106.5’s Intern Pete features on TV premiere of Sam Dastyari’s ‘Disgrace’

Former Assistant Editor

Sam Dastyari‘s new television show Disgrace! premiered last night as part of Channel 10’s pilot week, and the first episode addressed the Intern PeteSteve Smith scandal.

Kyle and Jackie O producer Intern Pete (Doppler) sat alongside Dastyari, Olympic swimmer Stephanie Rice, communications expert Greg Baxter and comedian Becky Lucas for the show, which is produced by The Chaser’s Charles Firth, and Nich Richardson.

The show got great reviews on social media but failed to rate well, gaining only 229,000 five city metro audience.

Disgrace! was born out of a segment that Dastyari delivers on KIIS 106.5 with Kyle and Jackie O called ‘Gutter Politics’.

As news.com.au reports, the show received rave reviews on Twitter despite the relatively low rating, so we could see more of Sam and Intern Pete in the near future on Ten.

Fox FM producer Leon Sjogren was one of those to praise the show.
