The 38th annual St Kilda Festival took place last Sunday, and ARN‘s KIIS 101.1 joined in the celebrations as the official media partner of the festival.

For the fourth year, KIIS 101.1 joined in the celebrations, with the station’s presenters getting involved throughout the day.

ARN’s Melbourne station teamed up with Pontoon at the Stokehouse Precinct, treating 400 lucky listeners to an exclusive beachfront party.

New Breakfast hosts Jase and PJ were on official welcome duties at the start of the day, before DJ Lauren Mac got the crowd on their feet.

Will and Woody‘s Will McMahon got in on the act later in the day, surprising the crowd with his own mixing skills in the decks.

Daytime presenters Joel Gelding and Steph Halamantaris were in the thick of things as well, hosting the main stage, while Murray Ryan and Alex Louran were at the O’Donnell Gardens Stage.

“The St Kilda Festival is always a great day celebrating music, art, and community, set against the spectacular natural beauty that is the St Kilda Foreshore,” said ARN chief marketing officer Anthony Xydis.

“This year to celebrate KIIS 101.1’s new radio shows with Jase & PJ for Breakfast and Will & Woody in Drive, we threw a Party at Pontoon with KIIS and invited our listeners to experience what this exciting festival is all about.

“We were proud to once again be the exclusive commercial radio and music streaming partner of the iconic annual event, uniting hundreds of thousands of festivalgoers who enjoyed performances by some of Australia’s hottest musical acts.”

ARN and iHeartRadio also put on a custom St Kilda Festival radio station, with festival artists including The Jezabels, Dan Sultan, Models, Tkay Maidza, Mia Dyson, The Bennies, Mallrat and Maddy Jane all featuring.
