Keith Urban, Amy Shark & more announced for Nova’s Red Room ARIA Week

NOVA Entertainment has announced a massive live music series: Nova’s Red Room ARIA Week.

The series of shows will celebrate the Aussie music industry in the leadup to the 2018 ARIA Awards, with performances by Keith Urban, Amy Shark, Vance Joy and Vera Blue.

All four shows will go down at Sydney’s The Lansdowne, and listeners will have the chance to attend the shows by tuning into Fitzy & Wippa, and Kate, Tim & Marty from Monday November 5.

“We’re proud to be working with our label partners and their Artists to bring together some of the best in Australian music in support of the ARIA’s for Nova’s Red Room ARIA Week,” said NOVA Entertainment group PD Paul Jackson.

“It’s been a big year for Australian artists as they put their mark on the world stage, so we will continue our support and look forward to celebrating with their fans and our industry partners during the Nova’s Red Room ARIA Week series.”

The first show will feature Sydney singer-songwriter Vera Blue, kicking off the series on Wednesday November 21. Vera recently released new single ‘All The Pretty Girls’, following up her album Perennial.

Next up will be ARIA-winning, genre-crossing star Amy Shark, in what will be her second appearance at the Red Room on November 22. Shark has been nominated for a further nine ARIAs this year off the back of her debut album Love Monster.

Grammy and ARIA-winning country sensation Keith Urban will take to the Red Room for the first time on November 26, with Kate, Tim & Marty. Urban recently released the single ‘Way Too Long’ from album Graffiti U, and he is also set to host the awards.

Singer-songwriter Vance Joy returns to the Red Room on November 27. He’s up for four ARIAs this year, following the release of his latest album Nation Of Two.

“I am thrilled to welcome the Nova Red Room series to ARIA WEEK. It is a brilliant celebration of Australian music incorporating breakthrough acts like Amy Shark through to legendary performers such as Keith Urban,” said ARIA chief executive Dan Rosen.

“No doubt these shows will be a highlight of the jam-packed ARIA Week Calendar.”
