K rock’s Tom & Buckle go on the ultimate Maccas run

There’s nothing better than a Maccas fix after Grand Final day. That’s exactly what Tom from Ballarine Peninsula got from K rock brekkie boys Tom & Buckle.

After calling through during the week to complain that he lived too far from McDonalds to enjoy a post-game feast, the team decided to bring Maccas to Tom in the most epic and unconventional way possible – via a helicopter.

Following the Tigers’ win on Saturday, Tom, Buckle and pilot Chad from Geelong Helicopters took off from the Geelong Foreshore and touched down on Tom’s property for a chow down of hash browns and McMuffins.

At first, Buckle was unsure if his thick frame would even fit in the helicopter’s carriage but he remarkably managed to preserve every last drop of orange juice on the trip over.
