Joy 94.9 GM calls it a day

JOY 94.9 Melbourne’s General Manager Conrad Browne will leave the station at the end of June.

Browne commenced with JOY in 2005 as a volunteer, moving through the ranks of the Sponsorship team and Production department, before becoming General Manager in 2011.

Browne said:

“JOY means so much to me and has been more than just a job for the last 10 years. It has been an incredible privilege to lead the station over the past 3 years and I am so proud of what has been achieved during this time.

It seems incredibly fitting that this years theme for Radiothon is ‘Remember JOY’ as it is a place full of people and experiences I will never forget and will always be proud to be a part of”.

JOY is now looking for a new General Manager to lead the Melbourne LGBTIQ radio station.
