About the role
Based in Pyrmont, Sydney, we are seeking a Media Sales Executive to join 2GB. In this role you will be reporting to the Sales Director. This role offers you career opportunities plus exposure to the media industry. Your Manager will provide you with the support and guidance you need to develop your skills in the role.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
 meet with a view to exceed a sales revenue budget each month
 working closely with your Line Manager and Team colleagues develop a new business pipeline and strategy for Potential and Inactive clients
 focus on selling a minimum of 4 proactive ideas to potential clients each month
 conduct a minimum of 10 client meetings each week
 deliver relevant insights, innovative solutions and opportunity proposals to agencies and clients
 work closely with our promotional team to deliver new and relevant opportunities for clients
 attend sales meetings, training sessions and relevant events
 ensure workplace health and safety compliance

What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with the energy, passion and self-drive to embrace our audience and promptly attend to the needs of most valuable assets, our listeners, clients and staff. The successful candidate will bring to this position the following attributes and experience:
 knowledge of the local market and a minimum of 5 years sales experience, ideally within the media industry
 confidence in dealing with a variety of stakeholders
 excellent written and verbal communication skills
 effective time management, multi-tasking and prioritisation
 attention to detail
 resilience through high pressure situations and competing deadlines
 self-motivated and self-reliant
 excellent interpersonal skills
 experience in negotiating mutually beneficial partnerships
