Job brief

Fix Radio is a London based DAB digital radio station that broadcasts across greater London as well online and streaming via app. The station has pioneered a new product and approach to specifically targeting and adding value to the working lives of London’s trades people, builders and construction workers.

In addition to on air we run a series of industry events and operate a commercial activation team, against which the successful candidate will have sales KPI’s set against. Moreover these tools are there to integrate across any suitable brief and enables the delivery of a full omni channel response.

We are looking for a seasoned, qualified and respected Sales account manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. As a Sales account manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. You will innately understand how to find, grow and develop meaningful long-term business partnerships.


 Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve long-term success
 Develop positive relationships with clients
 Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
 Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
 Resolve any conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
 Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase
 Deliver a track record that would enable the potential of a transition to management within 12 months
 Report on the status of accounts and transactions
 Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
 Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
 You will be expected to build a long term business strategy that can be presented to the CEO & Sales Director on how you will achieve your budgets
 Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

What you will need

 Proven work experience as a sales account manager or Sales account executive
 An understanding of the radio sales process from both a client direct and agency view point.
 Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
 Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (Excel & PPT)
 Understanding of sales performance metrics
 Excellent communication and negotiation skills
 An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
 Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
