Smooth FM Melbourne has announced that former Network Ten news presenter Jennifer Hansen will join the station as the Breakfast News Presenter.

Hansen commented: "I am delighted to be a part of the smoothfm team. I’ve wanted to work in radio for ages, so to be given this opportunity is just wonderful. It’s very exciting to be taking on a new career direction.

"It’s also an honour to be working alongside such an experienced radio host as Mike Perso who has a great reputation. I can’t wait to start!"

Program Director of smoothfm, Rohan Brown, said:

“We are thrilled to have someone of the calibre of Jennifer join the smoothfm news team. Her reputation and experience will ensure smoothfm’s breakfast audience are delivered Melbourne’s most comprehensive FM news and traffic service.”
