iHeartRadio Australia celebrates CMC Music Awards, sponsors International category

iHeartRadio Australia is celebrating the growing strength of the Australian country music scene.

At tomorrow’s CMC Music Awards on the Gold Coast (Thursday March 15), it is sponsoring the CMC International Artist of the Year Award.

Finalists in the category are Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and Keith Urban.

Geraint Davies, COO of iHeartRadio Australia said: “iHeartRadio is delighted and honoured to be involved with one of Australia’s most iconic country music events, the CMC Music Awards.

“We are excited to see Amber Lawrence, our own iHeartRadio Country Australia ambassador is not only performing, but also nominated for two awards – CMC Female Artist of the Year and CMC Duo of the Year with Travis Collins.”

The company’s content director Brett “Nozz” Nossiter added: “I am proud that iHeartRadio is presenting The CMC International Artist of the Year Award at this years’ CMC Music Awards.

Amber Lawrence, host of Amber Nights on iHeartCountry Australia, will be covering all the action live on the red carpet for CMC social platforms on the night.

She will also be performing alongside US country acts Old Dominion and Brothers Osborne, and local favourite Travis Collins at the awards.

Foxtel’s 8th CMC Music Awards are at The Star Gold Coast, and hosted by The McClymonts.
