Hit105 CD Mathew Eggleston on Gawndy’s ‘The Radio Randomly Podcast’

Episode 4 of ‘The Radio Randomly Podcast’ sees Gawndy chat with Mathew Eggleston chat about where the talent is hiding in Aussie radio.

Hit105 content director Eggo recently penned an article that questioned where all the talent in radio has gone, so naturally Gawndy jumped on the chance to get Eggo in for a chat on his podcast.

The piece promoted the idea of self-marketing to get your voice heard.

Eggo tells Gawndy that the idea for the article came from his early career, when he would create a weekly demo tape during his days as a presenter in order to try and get his name out there.

He expected to have his email flooded by air checks when he became a CD, but it just never really happened, so Eggo started wondering why.
