Hit105 appoints Rohan Edwards as Afternoons Announcer/Assistant MD

Hit105 has poached Tasmania native Rohan Edwards to become the station’s Afternoons announcer and assistant music director.

Rohan departs his role of assistant MD and on-air floater at Sydney’s 2DayFM where he looked after nationally syndicated Nights show Ash London Live.

Hit105 CD Mathew Eggleston has secured Rohan’s services, and he’ll take the road less travelled from Sydney to Brisbane.

“Whilst I had a great team at 2DayFM and would often leave work with a sore face after laughing all day, I’ve always heard awesome things about Brisbane so when the arvo’s gig came up I knew I had to jump at it!” says Rohan.

“Plus – I kept hearing about The Valley, so why not?!”

Rohan got his start working with the 2DayFM Street Team and panelling late night shows after he graduated from AFTRS.

He’s also worked in content, operations and on-air roles with KIIS 101.1 and KIIS 1o6.5

Rohan can now be heard from 12pm-3pm weekdays on Hit105 Brisbane.
