Hauraki to poach Devlin

Staff Writer

New Zealands TRN is thisclose to poaching high-profile RadioLive presenter Martin Devlin from Mediaworks.

TRN's Director of Programming and Marketing, David Brice, has offered Devlin the Breakfast role on troubled rock station 'Hauraki', which has struggled against Mediaworks 'The Rock' station for a number of years now.

Devlin is known to be a somewhat difficult talent, however he has a strong record of success.

Hauraki's Breakfast position has been a troublesome role to fill recently, with Iain Stables hired for the position 18 months ago, although he never went to air following a very public fight with an airline worker.
