Happy 80th 7AD

Today is 7AD in Devonport's 80th Birthday.

Over many months, the team have been collecting old photos, airchecks and memorabilia to help mark the occasion.

In the below video, former 7AD announcer Dave Lennon goes on a tour of the station in the mid 1980's….
 

Marc McCreadie from the station says they have started playing some past program highlights and chatting to previous 7AD staff about their memories of the station.

"We have an official celebration happening on Friday August 31st. A reunion for our former 7AD children’s club “The Koala Club”. We will have Robyn Moore (voice of Blinky Bill) as guest speaker on the night and former members of the club have been invited to attend the evening", Marc said.
