Greg Burns returns for summer breakfast on Nova

Nova has announced its holiday breakfast lineup, with Greg Burns to take over while Nova’s Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide breakfast teams take a break over Christmas.

Summer Breakfast with Greg Burns will kick off from Monday December 11.

Burns is no stranger to summer radio, having filled in for Fitzy & Wippa during over Christmas and during spring break last year.

He won’t be going it alone either, with NOVA Entertainment’s Katie Hill and Matt De Groot from Fitzy & Wippa’s breakfast show set to join him.

“I’m so excited to be taking control of Nova breakfast at the best time of the year, with a fantastic crew, and to announce Nova’s latest Red Room with an artist who was responsible for the single greatest gig I’ve EVER been to in my life…beyond excited,” said Burns.

Regular breakfast programming will kick back into gear in mid January for Nova Adelaide’s Lewis & Lowe with Hayley Pearson (Jan 15), and for Melbourne’s Chrissie, Sam & Brownie and Sydney’s Fitzy & Wippa (both Jan 22).

Chrissie, Sam & Brownie will send off the year tomorrow (December 8) with a festival Christmas special live from Federation Square in Melbourne.
