Going for gold in New York

There’ll be a big Aussie presence at the New York Festivals, where there have been 18 finalists covering the gamut of Australian broadcasting.

AFTRS has been named a finalist in the Best Student Documentary category for “Weird Ways To Watch Movies” by Ellie Parnell.

Parnell recorded, presented and produced the doco while  studying AFTRS Graduate Diploma Radio last year.

The winners will be announced at the New York Festivals Gala on June 18.
