“Gazza” fits the bill

In early Feb Head of Triple M, Mike Fitzpatrick put the call out on Radio Today to find someone good enough to join the daytime line-up at Triple M Melbourne.

Jane Gazzo has got the mornings gig.

Jane’s been doing the media thing for 25 years. Chuck in her stints with X FM London with Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand, even the BBC and Capital FM. Her career has seen her TV work fronting with the BBC, ITV and MTV UK and since 07 with Foxtel with Channel [V] and MAX. Even a bit of additional rock cred as Courtney Love’s personal assistant

Head of Triple M, Mike Fitzpatrick has said: “I'm excited to have Jane join Triple M.  She's a passionate music fan, a passionate Melburnian and a passionate Bloods supporter. Two out of three I guess. Needless to say, given she’s joining Triple M, Jane will probably have to be called Gazza on air.”

Being a Melbourne girl Jane got her break at the age of 16 at 3RRR and then went on to present nationally on triple J and the ABC TV cult TV show Recovery. In '99 she made the move to London with X FM, later working at both the BBC and Capital FM, while also hosting various TV Shows.

Jane Gazzo has said: "I am extremely excited to be joining Melbourne's Triple M and can't wait to get to work!
