Gavin Miller’s Operation Farnsy: Mission Complete

It’s mission completed for Gold 104.3’s Gavin Miller, who last week launched a campaign to score an interview with Aussie music legend John Farnham.

It began with an email to the Aussie icon’s manager, Glenn Wheatley, who responded to the affirmative via a comment on Radio Today‘s Operation Farnsy story.

The interview will air as an hour-long special: ‘Thank Gold It’s Farnham’.

For Miller, it was a dream come true to chat to a man, who doesn’t do a lot of interviews anymore.

“I was 13 going on 14 when Whispering Jack was released and the music you fall in with at that age stays with you forever.

“So, this is a really big deal for me and also for GOLD 104.3 listeners, who are always telling us how much they love John Farnham.

“Along with his truly exceptional talent, John Farnham’s humble nature and generosity of spirit are legendary. The fact he agreed to do this interviews proved that.”

The ‘Thank Gold It’s Farnham’ special will air Friday, March 9 at 4pm.
