FIVEaa has announced a joint venture which will see the Nine News team present a daily news bulletin on the radio station.

The content sharing agreement is an Australian-first, with Kate Collins, Brenton Ragless and the Nine Adelaide team to present half an hour of news, weather and sport weekdays at 12pm.

“We are excited to enhance our station with a dedicated news program that is both local and immediate,” said FIVEaa station manager Craig Munn.

“This program will complement what we know to be a respected afternoon talent lineup on FIVEaa covering everything that is live and local.”

“This bulletin will be produced and delivered by the team here at Nine News Adelaide, and presented live by Brenton Ragless, Kate Collins, Will McDonald and other familiar voices,” said Nine News director Jeremy Pudney.

“Along with our television bulletins at 6.00pm and 4.00pm, plus daily reporting across nine.com.au and social media, this positions Nine Adelaide as a true multi-platform newsroom. More importantly, it once again demonstrates Nine’s commitment to news for South Australia.”

The full new workday lineup for FIVEaa will kick off on November 12:

• 12noon-12.30pm Nine News on FIVEaa
• 12.30pm-3pm Afternoon with Alan Hickey
• 3pm-4pm Conversations with Cornesy
• 4pm-6pm Sports Show with Rowey & Bicks
