FOX FM’s Fifi and Byron stitch up Fev with Calum Scott stunt

Former Assistant Editor

Two-thirds of FOX FM‘s Breakfast team stitched up the other member this morning, when Fifi and Byron organised Brendan Fevola‘s favourite singer Calum Scott to dress up and pretend to be a tradie.

Fifi, Fev and Byron kicked off their regular ‘tradie-oke’ segment where tradies call up and sing, but with the segment getting strong feedback the show’s producers told Fev that they’d decided to do some auditions in person.

They started off with some tradies singing music in a X-Factor/Australian Idol style of audition, but what Fev didn’t know was that his favourite singer Calum Scott had been briefed and dressed up as a tradie as well.

Masquerading as Scott and Sam, brick-layers from Scoresby, Calum sung while ‘Sam’ played piano – as they performed a powerful acoustic rendition of ‘Dancing On My Own’.

Despite the unbelievable quality of the singing, Fev still didn’t cotton on to the fact that it was the real Calum Scott standing in front of him, until Fifi pointed it out to him.

His reaction was simply priceless.
