Em Rusciano to take time off

In an heartfelt segment this morning, Em Rusciano has announced she is taking the next two days off work, returning Monday.

The 2Day FM breakfast co-host lost a baby earlier this year, and this week marks the time when her son would have been born.

“I think you’re making the right choice. You don’t need to be in here talking to people in Sydney on that day” co-host Harley Breen commented.

“I just don’t feel like being funny. It’s really hard,” she added.

Comedian Celeste Barber will be filling in for Rusciano during this time.
