Em Rusciano is having a baby boy

2DayFM‘s Em Rusciano announced this morning that she is pregnant with a baby boy.

“We are having a baby. I can’t believe I’m saying it out loud.”

Em then told Grant, Ed and her listeners that she is already through the first trimester and then some.

During the announcement, Em also discussed the miscarriage she had last year.

“What really struck me about finding out I was pregnant was the fear that I would lose the baby because I lost my last baby and had a miscarriage.

“The thought of going through all of the first trimester and not knowing… I had to wait for the tests, it felt like I had the sword of Damocles hanging over my head.

She continued to speak about her fear to tell people or buy maternity wear in case she jinxed the pregnancy, and also announced the news on Instagram.
