Dan & Maz : Today national drive in 2014

12 months after being poached by SCA to join the network from dmg where they were doing breakfast at Nova Adelaide, Dan Debuf and Maz Compton have been confirmed as the new Today network drive hosts.

The duo will replace Fifi & Jules. Fifi is moving to Fox FM breakfast while Jules is off to 2Day FM for the early starts.

In March, Dan & Maz began doing a late drive/early night show, airing from 6pm – 8pm across the network which was anchored by night host Angus O'Loughlin.

Angus looks like staying on nights next year with the new drive show anchor to be their current summer breakfast anchor, Fox FM's Michael (MC) Christian. The show will come out of Melbourne just like previous national drive shows on the network.

Maz said, “I just think it’s hilariously ironic that we are going to be hosting the national drive show even though Dan doesn’t have his driver’s license! Speaking of driving, Dan will more than likely drive me up the wall most days. Bring it on, I’m really excited!”

Dan said, “What a thrill to be on air two hours earlier! This means two more daylight hours after work to walk the dog, clean the house, and prepare a delicious dinner! This quote was written by my girlfriend."

Dave Cameron, Head of Today Network, said, “Dan and Maz, due for haircuts, overdue for a national time slot like this. The Drive home in 2014 with Dan and Maz will be more fun than a glove box full of Pop's peppermints."
