DAB+ Survey #8: ABC Jazz holds onto Sydney top spot, Double J takes Melbourne

Welcome to the eighth DAB+ Digital Radio survey results for 2018.

Radio Today analyses the cume audience numbers on DAB+, as part of our rolling ratings coverage for Survey #8.

ABC Jazz held onto the top position in Sydney despite falling to a cume audience of 89,000 (-25,000). Edge Digital remains a fierce competitor with an audience of 83,000 (-1,000).

Over in Melbourne, previous survey winners Coles Radio were knocked off the top spot by Double J, finishing the survey period with a 59,000 audience (-17,000) and 65,000 (-4,000) audience, respectively.

In Brisbane, The 90s iHeartRadio remains number one, despite seeing a fall to a total cume audience of 32,000 (-4,000). Triple M Classic Rock is in second place, ahead of Coles Radio.

An upset in Adelaide saw ABC Jazz push The 80s iHeartRadio from their winning position with a total cume audience of 36,000 (+19,000). Coles Radio rose up to snag second position, finishing on an audience of 33,000 (+16,000)

smooth overtook OLDSKOOL Hits as the top-rated DAB+ Digital station in Perth, ahead of Coles Radio, Double J and ABC Country.
