Crocmedia Pacific Star Network merger confirmed

Pacific Star Network shareholders pulled no surprises at today’s meeting and have voted overwhelming in favour of a merger with Crocmedia.

In what was effectively a ‘rubber stamp’, they approved ten proposals that sees PSN acquire Crocmedia with the sports production house then engaged to run the business that includes 1116 SEN.

The new board and senior management team sees three from each ‘side’ of the deal: Pacific Star Network chairman Craig Coleman and directors Andrew Moffat and Colm O’Brien.

Joining them will be Crocmedia managing director Craig Hutchison, executive director Chris Giannopoulos and general manager Jodie Simm.

After Hutchison talked up SEN’s performance in survey one on Tuesday, shareholders were today given a run-down of the business and its revenue sources, while the value of the merged entity has been placed at the lower end of comparable media businesses.

SEN falls below 3% in latest ratings & Hutchy is happy ?? The new talking sport station on 1278 could take more listeners away from SEN. Good luck with the merger.
