Jason Staveley: Craft Tips

Jason Staveley is one of the most experienced Announcers in the radio business, having worked on-air in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and now as host of Drive on WSFM in Sydney.

He’s also worked in Europe (in multiple countries) and was formerly Program Director of Nova Adelaide. So yeah he’s pretty experienced!

Jason shares a few tips on how he prepares for a show, and some strategies to get your content connecting with your audience.

He shared his tips with AFTRS, where he is guest air-checker of students in the Advanced Diploma in Radio Course.
