Christian O’Connell farewells EP Nick Daly

Christian O’Connell has bid adieu to producer Nick Daly, who has spent time in Australia helping his new Gold104.3 Breakfast show get started.

Nick’s final shift on The Christian O’Connell Breakfast show was this morning before he heads back to the UK.

An experienced EP for DMG Radio and ARN, Nick moved to Absolute Radio in 2016 and worked on Christian’s show until he moved to Australia this year, and was contracted to help launch the show down under for ARN.

“Today we farewell the one and only Producer Nick as he makes his way back to the UK,” posted Christian on his Facebook page.

“We can’t thank him enough for helping to kick-start The Christian O’Connell Breakfast show here in Melbourne, and let us put his face all over our studio TVs… All the best, Nick.”

As part of the farewell, Christian organised Nick to busk for beer money at Richmond train station, to fund his farewell drinks.

He apparently made $9.75… just enough for a beer!
