Can Mix 101.1’s PI maintain perfect strike rate?

Staff Writer

A woman’s long lost twin brother.

A dad who walked out on his family.

And an overseas lover who never got on the plane to meet his online girlfriend.

These are just some of the people Chrissie and Jane’s Private Investigator has been trying to track down.

The Mix 101.1’s breakfast team has recruited PI Julia Robson for listeners’ cases and, so far, she’s had a 100 per cent success rate in cracking the mysteries.

Some have had happy endings, but not all and Robson had to break the news to listener ‘Jody’ that she’d been scammed into sending $6000 to a fake online boyfriend.

Jody, who borrowed money to pay for her ‘boyfriend’s’ plane ticket, told the breakfast show: “I had this gut feeling this was happening.”

“I’m hurting, but I’m glad I found out.”

Case 10 has proved a tough one for Chrissie and Jane’s Private Investigator. Robson is searching for the birth parents of listener Rachel.

Yesterday, Robson told the Mix team she needed more time to investigate a lead.

They’ll find out this morning how she went.
