Brad ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald stepping in for Pete Curulli on mix94.5

Perth’s Pete Curulli is bidding farewell to his Rush Hour fam for two weeks with Brad ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald stepping up to fill the airwaves on mix94.5.

Pete is off on paternal leave as he welcomes his second child with wife, Liz, leaving Fitzy to pair up with co-presenter Lisa Shaw.

“Pete does an amazing job and the synergy between Pete and Lisa is fantastic,” said Fitzy.

Fitzy is looking forward to continuing to champion Perth based radio.

“I really love the fact that they’re so local. There’s nobody else that’s local in the afternoons anymore, so it’s great.

“I think we take a lot of pride in Perth and holding onto our localism.

“It’s a little sad that that’s disappearing from a lot of radio stations so it’s fantastic to see you’re keeping that alive, and doing such a good job of it too.”
